My wife and I recently bought a home that needed to have the crawlspace encapsulated. I called a couple different vendors that are local to the area/state to get some more information. Shawn from Ox Foundation Solutions came out fairly quickly to look at the crawlspace. He was professional, respectful, and did a great job explaining different things to look at in the crawlspace that needed attention. Shortly after completing the process of getting on their schedule, Drew and his team came out here to install everything in the crawl space, and they continued the same manner of professionalism that we had received from Shawn. Drew even went through were everything was in the basement, and where our drain line from the sump pump would be located. I waited until after a good rain before posting this recommendation to see if their work would hold up, and if you live in the Birmingham area you know that we just had a very rough storm roll through here. I checked the crawl space on three occasions and the humidity level never changed and there is no visible water in our crawl space. It was definitely a reflection of their work. Making sure our crawlspace is protected and free of moisture is a big deal, and it was a breath of fresh air to have a process, that from beginning to end, was extremely easy to navigate. If you need work done on your crawl space I would highly recommend giving Ox Foundation Solutions an opportunity to earn your business.

OX did a wonderful job on waterproofing my basement. Dalton, Benito, Jumbo, and Wyatt did a very professional job and made my dingy old moldy smelling basement into a place I can't wait to turn into my new mancave. A++ to all of them. We called several businesses to come fix our foundation (being an older house) and no one wanted to touch it. David's customer service was outstanding! We will update this review once the work is complete, however we were going to go with something that he let us know would be a waste of our money instead of just taking the payment for something that wouldn't be a solution for us. When the time comes for me to do the encaspulation and dehydration of our crawl space, this is the business I'll be choosing- their customer service won me over and earned my business! Initial review a 1 Star due to: Paid a deposit and no show. No communication. Post service update: Owner responded quickly after initial review. Next day, Justin, Dustin, and Andrew were 110% the best in service on-site. Thoroughly pleased. They worked at my father’s house too and he was equally satisfied. It’s a busy time for all and communication is crucial even if delays happen. I totally get it. But we spent up to $900 for my husband to take off work to be home and for boarding our dogs for not just one day but two. I will recommend you again but I will also advise not costing another family these expenses by preparing communications better in the future.

Dannon at Ox Foundations provided a valuable consult on if we should request a retaining wall for a house we were considering purchasing. He came out the next day to survey the slope behind the house in question. He was very generous and willing to give us his humble and detailed opinion on whether or not we needed retaining wall for our backyard. Dannon was very knowledgeable in the matter and did not pressure us into using his services. I would highly recommend Ox Foundations and will be using their services if I need them in the future.

Ox Foundations were wonderful to work with on the encapsulation of our home crawl space. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and explained the entire process and all our options. The two guys who did the encapsulation were very respectful and did great work. The electrician, Justin, was so nice and helpful making sure everything was correctly wired and working properly. Great overall service!!
